While many lovebirds are celebrating lover’s day with flowers, chocolates and wine, Valentine’s Day seemed like a typical day for the president.
He kicked off his day by meeting Jubilee senators where he urged them to play their oversight role effectively.
“Met Senators from the Jubilee Party. Emphasized the need for Senators to play their oversight role effectively to ensure devolution succeeds in transforming the lives of Kenyans. The success of the Big Four agenda depends on effective drafting and passage of relevant legislation.” Read a Tweet announcing what he was up to in the early morning.
He later joined Christians for an Ash Wednesday Mass at the Holy Family Basilica in Nairobi.
The mass marked the start of Lent season where Christians will embark on 40 days of fasting, confession of sins and prayer.
