Wazir Benson Chacha, the man accused of running a fraud scheme against several MPs, has for the first time spoken on the allegations facing him.
Chacha now claims he is innocent, and accused Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege of being out to fix him.
The 23-year old youth stated that Ms Chege should also be investigated as his co-accused.
"I am innocent. The person who should be investigated is Sabina Chege. She is the person of interest. Not me," he said in a video released on Wednesday.
Chacha further claimed that the MP was targeting him after they has personal difference.
"She is behind everything. She is just trying to fix me because of personal issues and differences. She should be investigated as the co-accused," he added.
Chege became the first MP to raise the red flag after she learnt that several of her colleagues in Parliament had been conned in her name.
She has denied having any contact with Chacha and corrected the media over the manner the story has been reported.
Local media have reported that the alleged conman bragged having sexual encounters with 13 female MPs which he recorded on video tape. Pulselive.co.ke, however, could not independently verify the claims.
