Pals and close family of the pretty college student, Carol
Ngumbu, who died alongside IEBC manager Chris Msando have sent in their
tributes to the young soul, gone too soon.
Her sibling Jedida Shiko told Daily Nation,
“YESTERDAY AFTER SEEING THE NEWS ON TV, I IMMEDIATELY KNEW IT
WAS MY SISTER BECAUSE HAD LAST GONE HANGING OUT WITH CHRIS BUT I HADN’T HEARD
FROM HER. SO I CALLED SOME OF MY FRIENDS AND WE WENT TO CITY MORTUARY. WE DID
NOT EVEN INFORM OUR PARENTS BEFORE GOING. AT THE MORTUARY, I WAS SCARED
AND I LET MY TWO TWO FRIENDS GO INSIDE WHILE I STAYED OUTSIDE. I SHORTLY HEARD
MY FRIEND SCREAM AND I KNEW IT WAS HER.”

President Kenyatta has asked
police to quickly probe the killing of IEBC ICT Manager and bring those
responsible to book.
He said the probe should be hastened so that its not used by his
rivals to call for postponement of elections scheduled for next week.

kid, jovial ,a play tom, you grew into a beautiful woman i hardly recognized
you…God knows best…shine on your way, dance with the angels, you will be missed
dearly …may the lord keep you on shallow waters…we will meet again

start or end this…..you are gone too soon #carolsharifngumbu, I am yet to
believe as the whole thing about you passing away is just unbelievable…you were
so full of life and now you are no mooo….its true life is so unfair and only
takes away the good things away from us…you were such a jovial lady at all
