Members of Parliaments caused a stir on Tuesday on the floor of the house, when they claimed that they have been victims of cyberbullying.
The MPs complained that conmen had accessed their contacts, and were using them to bully and even threaten them.
They have since called upon the Inspector General of Police and the service providers to ensure they launch investigations into the matter.
“Some of the pictures I have here are parts of a naked human being; if I show you, you cannot even look with your eyes,” said Junet Mohamed, who has been a victim.
Other MPs also joined in the matter, which was brought tho
the attention of the house speaker by Muranga County Woman Representative Sabina Chege.
Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa told the house that the lady in question once sent him nudes, which threatened to tear apart her family.
“Just recently, the same lady sent me something and I tried to open it; the sounds that came out of it made it difficult to speak in my house. This matter is breaking families!” complained Wamalwa.
The matter acted as relief for the honourable members, with some finding it funny and bursting into delirous laughters
