Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has today joined family, friends, colleagues and fans of Bongo flava star Ali Kiba as he took his vows to wed Mombasa born girlfriend, Amina Rikesh.
Governor Joho flanked the jubilant Kiba at the Ummul Kuthlum Mosque, an important formality, before the official Swahili wedding to be held at the Diamond Jubilee Hall in Kongwea, later in the day.
The Kongowea ceremony will reportedly see the singer pocket a cool Sh9 million when he finally says “I do” after he signed a deal with Azam TV to exclusively air the event.
Another wedding will also be held in Dar es Salaam next week, 26th April
